Inverted router newbie

Hi. I just bought a used Delta/CR Onsrud inverted router. It's my intention to use it to make custom eyeglass frame and lenses.

It's hard to find much information about these units. Are there any members of this forum who use these for cutting small items? If so, are there any tips you would care to share?

I would say your biggest issue is going to be figuring out a way to hold your frames so that your fingers aren't too close to the cutter.
